Short Poems

This post contains various short poems I have jotted down or spontaneously shared over the years on social media. It will be added to periodically, as I find more of them in obscure corners of hard drives.

Everywhere another corridor of the maze another trap another slave

No moment to breathe and no way to truly believe All the other ways have been tried and then our eyes are opened wide

in this time we must only decide what we will and what we will not abide

One moment where the labyrinth becomes home One segment where you are not alone One path that is pleasant to some One road that is available to none

With a way to see, we blindly look out With an inking of truth, we struggle with doubt In one crucial moment we suddenly see What we are, we become, and can actually be

We are not in chains to the world or to time We are not slaves to reason or rhyme We are simply required to make worth of kith and kin By revealing the truth already concealed deep within

A single grasp no moments inevitable decline perpetual wonder

can you see it that which is never found the earth cries out against its own foundation

can you know it? that which is beneath the ground bones turned into worms in some new form of elaboration

Oh the horrors of the hypothetical The curse of the conceptual The damnation of the ideological The evils of the impossible

The astral is our sandbox yet we treat it as real All the while denying the things we actually feel
