The word Integral is defined as: “entire, complete, whole”, “consisting of parts that make a whole”, “essential to the whole”.

Synarchic Integralism (sometimes simply called Integralism) is, in its essence, a comprehensive ethos intending to emulate the Natural Cosmos. It is a way of relating perennial truths to the modern era, without bias, dogmatic nonsense, or obfuscation.

Integralism is a term which has been used in many different ways, from Sri Aurobindo's Integral metaphysics, to Ken Wilber's holistic philosophy, the Catholic Integralists, and even the political movements of Mexican, European, and Brazilian ideologues.

In these posts, Integralism is defined as a practical ideological system emulating the functionality of Nature, by fully integrating the perceptual, conceptual, emotive, and material components of human beings. This implicitly implies the fusion of spirituality, economic activity, politics, and culture.

In this view, all entities are treated holistically; that is to say, the whole incorporates all parts, all parts are necessary for the whole, and that the whole (the sum of all parts) is greater than all its parts (a holism).

The Cosmos itself is fundamentally one of both Synarchy and Integralism – any specific implementation of this ideology simply serves as a mirror of the already existing Natural processes.

Synarchy (previously defined as a system that simultaneously and synergistically employs both a “horizontal” or “peer” structure AND a “vertical” or “clout” structure), combined with Integralism (a system emulating the functionality of Nature, where all entities are treated holistically) are fused into Synarchic Integralism: the perennial philosophy of dynamic unity.

A specific instance or practical implementation of Synarchic Integralism is limited to those who voluntarily choose to participate in said implementation (a specifically defined Synarchy). It includes all its members fully, yet all members must fully commit and participate, and it allows for the notion of the exclusion of those who do NOT fully commit and participate.

Such a group acts as a holistic synergy (being both more than the sum of its parts, with all parts necessary to the activity of the whole) — a holistic construct which is shared and distributed between the specific entities who join it.

The direct meaning of the word synarchy is “ruling together”, and it is also described as “joint sovereignty”.

In the posts made here, synarchy refers to a system that simultaneously and synergistically employs both a “horizontal” or “peer” structure AND a “vertical” or “clout” structure.

What I am describing as synarchy is sometimes referred to as heterarchy, however, there is also another way of using the term heterarchy, where it specifically refers to the “horizontal” structure of any system, that of mutual connection or relationship on a specific structural level.

The use of the term heterarchy in these posts specifically refers to the “horizontal” or mutually connected structure of any system, as in that between peers.

In contrast, the “vertical” part of a synarchy is simply hierarchy. Hierarchy is the authority or “clout” structure in a system, and is seen in Nature in pack dynamics, as well as in the fact that complex structures encompass and govern simple structures.

Here we have a triad of three clear components: heterarchy as peer relations at any level of structure, hierarchy as influence relationships between levels of structure, and synarchy as the overall harmonious relation between, and incorporation of, all levels of the structure.

This form of organization is how Nature, as a whole, functions.

Note #1: Synarchy has much in common with the idea of holarchy, derived from the Koestler/Wilber holon or “whole-part” concept. The concept of holarchy is similar to that of synarchy, but there are differences.

Note #2: Another extant (relatively spurious) meaning of synarchy is “rule by a secret group or secret society”. This meaning is specifically excluded in these posts, and not at all referred to here.

Wyrd is the primordial unifying principle of beingness which mystics, sages, and other seekers of all stripes and colors seek to recognize, understand, perceive, employ, and achieve union with.

Wyrd has been known by many names: Tao, Brahman, Christ, Buddha-Nature, Source, Intent, etc. The name is not particularly important, in and of itself. However, there is particular utility in using the term Wyrd, considering the fact that the term is free of various dogmatic ties.

The term Wyrd invokes several related concepts: word, ward, weird, even “worth”. Wyrd is all of these things, and more. The use of this term is not intended to directly lean on any existing mythology.

It would be possible to go into the extant lore of the term here, but this is not the aim of these posts. Here we speak of the Living Wyrd, the manifest Wyrd, the true and actual Wyrd. We are here to find and unify with it directly without any intermediaries. This is not to be an exposition of the dried husk of that which is sought, as is often the case, but of the nectar of that which is spoken of.

Simply put, Wyrd is That Which Is. It is the primordial and perpetual expression of the unknowable Infinity from which all manifestation springs.

Wyrd is defined by one simple thing: IT EXISTS, it is THAT WHICH EXISTS.

WYRD IS EXISTENCE, IT IS BEINGNESS ITSELF.

Exploring the Wyrd is the purpose of the existence of sentient beings.
